Bonne fête Pierre! Happy Birthday Pierre.

Bon dimanche

Happy Sunday
thank you so much for stopping by my blog, it always makes me happy, especially in these time where clicking "like" on facebook is so much faster! September is well under way, it is fall, my favorite month and the season I like best. Last week, was a very festive one in our house. It was Pierre's birthday and we celebrated 37 years together. If Pierre encourages my artistical activities, he is not particularily curious about it. He never even mentioned his interest in receiving a card, created for himself. This was a well kept secret! I chose an image from Just inklined, which does not have much to do with Pierre, although he has a lot in common with it! Pierre is active, he always has something to do, summer and winter! But he does appreciate his afternoon siesta and his O'Keefe beer. I love this image for it's reality, for the peace and quiet that comes out of it, two qualities that my Pierre has. I printed it on xpress blending card, colored with copics. My papers are from Stampin Up, and all decorative elements from my stash.

I did enjoy very much creating the matching box, and Pierre loved it! In our house, fall is associated with tomato canning and making wine. I created the little grape with pearls, airbrushed  with alcool inks. the corks are little decorative buttons, the wooden elements are from my stash. The jute was shaped and glued with Super heavy gel from LIquitex.
