Graduation 2015

Bon samedi!
J,aimerais partager avec vous aujourd'hui un ensemble créé pour la graduation d'un jeune homme. Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'images masculines à ce sujet.... j'ai déniché celle de KennyK qui me convenait parfaitement. L'image est imprimée sur x-press blending card, coloriée aux copics. Les papiers sont de Creative Memories. J'ai utilisé pour l'intérieur des images digi de Meljin's design, (dont la boutique est fermée) . La bordure étoile est découpée avec la Cricut.

J'ai décoré la Boitatou avec un mortier et un diplome, l'alphabet est de cricut aussi.  On m'avait spécifié de prévoir un espace pour glisser un cadeau en argent, j'ai donc conçu une bourse que j'ai fixée à l'intérieur de la boite au moyen d'un velcro.

I would like to share with you today a  card and Boitatou created especially for a young fellow graduating next May from university. There are not many images suitable for young man, I was lucky to find this one from KennyK which was perfect for the style I wanted for my set. The image is stamped on xpress blending, colored with copics. My papers are from Creative Memories. For the inside of the card, I used Meljin's design (whos shop is presently closed). The star border is made with my cricut.  As for the Boitatou, I made a graduation cap, and rolled aged paper to look like a diploma. The letters are also from Cricut.  I was requested to provide something to include a gift in money, I thought it would be nice to join a little pouch on the inside of the box, it holds with a velcro!

Ensemble Graduation pour jeune homme! Masculine Graduation kit !

Je vous présente aujourd'hui un petit ensemble conçu pour un jeune homme qui gradue.  J,ai fait une petite boite en origami, au style de mortier!  Afin de la préserver, je l,ai enduite de Mod Podge. Le couvercle est un carton épais recouvert de Sticky back canvas, et de  peinture acrylique noire. Je l'ai accompagné d'une petite carte, d'une dimension à laquelle je ne suis pas habituée! j,ai colorié Graduation Edwin, avec mes copics, et l'intérieur est décoré soit avec des collants ou une image digitale d'un mortier et d'un diplôme ( étampes digitales de Meljen,s designs).

Thank you for visiting me today, I would like to share with you today a little Graduation set I made for a young man! The little origami box takes the shape of a graduation hat. I covered a thick cardstock with sticky back canvas, painted with black acrylic paint; the box itself received 3 coats of ModPodge to ensure durability. I created a little card to match in a size I am not too familiar to work with. I used the beautiful Spellbinder oval to showcase Graduation Edwin, colored with copics. The inside of the card is decorated with stickers and the writing space with a cute digi stamps from Meljen,s designs.
