Poussière d'Ange - Angel dust...

Merci de votre visite! Il y aurait toute une histoire à raconter avec cette carte! mais je vais tout simplement en dire qu'elle est bien spéciale. J'ai choisi l'image de Karen Middelton, Hope, imprimée sur x-press blending card, et coloriée aux copics. Sur les ailes de l'ange j'ai ajouté du Wink of stella et beaucoup de glossy accent. J,ai utilisé un fil doré pour donner du relief à son auréole. Mes papiers sont de Kaiser Kraft, Sweet Nothing. Fleurs et rubans de mon inventaire.

thank you for stopping by! there would be a lot to say about this card! But I will simply say that it is very special. I chose Karen Middelton, Hope, printed on x-press blending card and colored with copics. On her wings, I added Wink of stella glittering marker, and a heavy coat of glossy accent. I used a gold jewelry wire to create her halo. My papers are from Kaiser Kraft, Sweet Nothing. Flowers and ribbons from my stash.

 à l'intérieur, une petite carte pour inscrire un mot personnel, j'ai trouvé dans mes étampes Stampin up, cette phrase particulièrement touchante: "Les anges sont là, invisibles, nous murmurant des paroles d'amour les jours de joie comme les jours de peine". N'est pas joli? Beaucoup de frantage et d'embossage pour décorer. Il y a un joli petit ange dans le bas de la page de droite, entouré de frantage.

For the inside, a little card with a  cut butterfly from my cricut, I found such a lovely sentiment in my Stampin up stamps it says: (my translation) "Angels are there, invisible, breathing us words of love, days of joy as well as days of sadness". Lots of embossing and frantage to decorate. There is a lovely little angel stamped at the bottom of the right page, surrendered by frantage.

merci de votre visite! je me fais rare de ce temps ci! je cours ici et là...et je travaillais sur une page de scrapbook, que je n,ai pas encore terminée et une autre carte! entre deux brassées de lavage, et les courses, et  etc!!! Alors, ce matin je vous présente un ensemble carte et boitatou portant les voeux de fêtes à la soeur de ma voisine, qui aime les chats et le rose!  J,ai choisi un étampe de Sweet Pea, dans la collection de Karen Middleton, que je trouve vraiment mignonne! Je l,ai coloriée au crayons de bois, Faber Castel, sur papier Bristol.  Mes papiers sont de la collection bo Bunny, Prairie Chic. Lorsque mon amie Cathy Lynn m'a envoyé le lien de Becca sur la technique du "ribbon ruching" désolée, je n'ai pas de traduction! Je me suis empressée d'essayer! Alors voilà le résultat!

thank you for stopping by! I am not very present on the web these days.. I run here and there,  I have been working on scrapbooking pages, that are not finished, and have two cards on my table! All this between two loads of laundry, lunches and errands! the usual I guess! this morning I am sharing with you a card I created to the request of my neighbour, she wanted something special for her sister who loves pink and cats! I worked with a cute little image from Karen Middleton,  in Sweet Pea stamps. It is stamped on Bristol and colored with Faber Castel. My papers are from BoBunny, Prairie Chic collection. When my friend Cathy Lynn sent me Becca's link on Ribbon Ruching, I had to try this technique... Do you like the result?

J'ai prévu une petite pochette dans laquelle j,ai glissé une étiquette, pour inscrire des souhaits. À l'opposé, c'est un grand cadre coupé avec ma cricut qui porte les voeux personnalisés.

Un aperçu de la boitatou! J,aime vraiment ce produit, pour ne plus m'en passer! et lorsque je reçois une commande de carte, on me demande toujours la petite boîte avec, s'il vous plaît!

Inventory Challenge No. 59, Snowflake

Good morning friends!
to all my south of the border friends, hope you had a beautiful Thanks Giving, enjoyed yourself, and ate lots of turkey and pumpkin pie! For this Black Friday, Christina and I chose a white theme: Snowflakes! we had lots of those in Montreal 2 days ago! Last week, I as challenged to make a bookcard by Claudia, and had no idea how to make this, but got inspired by searching the web and landing on Tina's blog head before heals, and having to translate german to english, cm to inches! but it worked well, you will be the judges of that. Again I worked with the beautiful Banquise papers from Harmonie, used lotsssss of glitter, the way I love them, and decided to create a fairy story for my precious daughter in law, as this snow fairy stamp from Sweet Pea was chosen by her. She collects fairies, and loves the ones with looooooooooong wings. At first I intented to put all images on top of the card, but did not like the result; so instead, I used the 3D effect of the pages to create this Cinderella scene. I was left with nothing for the cover, however! I improvised with snowflakes! buckle your belts, there a lots of pictures.

Bienvenue à notre défi amical du vendredi! mes copines des USA célèbrent aujourd'hui le black friday! le lendemain de leur Tanks Giving. Christina et moi, avons choisi un thème à l'opposé, tout en blanc: des flocons de neige. J,ai donc été inspirée par la petite tempête que nous avons eue il y a 2 jours! et par un autre défi amical de Claudia, cette fois: elle proposait une carte livre. La lune, cette semaine devait porter aux défis! car je m'habitue tranquillement à Windows 7, à google chrome et tout le jargon informatique qu'impose un nouvel ordinateur; pas pire pour une fille de la génération de la IBM Selectric.Revenons à ma carte, j'ai beaucoup aimé le tuto que j'ai trouvé sur le blogue de Tina, bien que j'ai dû taduire de l'allemand et composer avec les mesures en cm. J'ai travaillé encore une fois avec les superbes papiers Banquise de Harmonie, une étampe Sweet Pea, Snow Fairy de Johanne Schemps, et beaucoup beaucoup de stickles. Cette carte contiendra notre cadeau de Noel à la petite amie de mon fils, qui adore et collection les fées. Elle affectionne particulièrement celles avec les longues ailes. Les images imprimées constituaient au départ la couverture de la carte, mais je ne suis pas parvenue à créer quelque chose que j'aimais, la possibilité de jouer avec le 3D dans les pages intérieures du livre m'a inspiré. Tel un conte de fée, comme Cendrillon, la fée des neiges court vers son prince... ou à vous d'imaginer le reste de l'histoire... Il me faillait décorer la couverture du livre maintenant, j'ai donc improviser sur le thème des flocons! à vous de juger si c'est réussi ou non.  Attachez vos ceintures, il y a beaucoup de photos!

INVENTORY CHALLENGE No. 33 - Pile it on ! (Layers)

Another week has gone by, and Christina and I are happy to welcome you to a brand new Inentory Challenge, which has for theme Pile it on! I love layers, sooo this was a delight for me. Today is my DIL' s birthday (Have a wonderful day Cindy!) and it is her card I present you. Special, quite special, and very out of my comfort zone. Sensuality, feminity and as my son says: Scrumptious! Cindy loves fairies. I created for her a Moonlight paradise, because she likes blue.

Une autre semaine qui s'est envolée, et le printemps qui tarde. Christina et moi sommes heureuses de vous accueillir à un nouveau défi, et notre thème est "empilons"! c'est un plaisir pour moi, j'adore empiler.J'ai créé cette carte spécialement pour Cindy, la petite amie de mon fils. C'est son anniversaire aujourd'hui, alors Bonne Fête Cindy.


I used Moonlight Fairy from the beautiful Sweet Pea collection, and enjoyed every bit of time I spent coloring this little beauty. I used mainly my copics, but was unable to get the depth I really was looking for, so my coloring pencils came very useful. The halo around the picture was obtained with coloring pencil and solvent, I added Distress ink all around the border to emphasizes the effect of darkness. I used the wonderful sketch No. 156 from Sketch Saturday. Hope Cindy will like her, and so do you!


Je suis vraiment sortie de ma zone de confort pour explorer la féminité, la sensualité avec cette fée qui s'appelle Moonight Fairy, de la collecton Sweet Pea, ce fut pour moi un défi, habituée à colorier Tilda,  Comme Cindy aime le bleu, j'ai voulu créer une scène où la lune resplendirait. Je me suis inspirée du sketch de Sketch Saturday no. 156. J'espère qu'elle plaira à Cindy, et à vous aussi!
