May Madness Weekend at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Circular shape fancy fold card

 Here is my project for this May Madness Weekend, a step by step tutorial

to make a fancy fold card, from a round shape.

You will need:

Cardstock plain, 8 1/2 X 11  - to make base of card, plus enough to make inside cards.
Pattern Paper - for matting ( optional)

Cut one 8 1/4 inches diameter circle in plain cardstock.

STEP 1 - score at 1 7/8 and 6 3/8 inches.
STEP 2 - rotate 90 degrees. Score at 2 1/2 inches.
STEP 3 - make folds with bonefolder and cut on the fold line starting where the vertical fold meets the horizontal one, from the inside of the circle towards the outside.

Un tuto : comment faire une carte à plis de fantaisie à partir d'un cercle.

voici, ce dont vous aurez besoin:

Carton uni - 8 1/2 x 11 po. pour la base de la carte, et suffisamment  pour faire les étiquettes intérieures.

Du papier imprimé (pour doubler - optionnel)

Couper un cercle de 8 1/4 pouce de diamètre dans le carton uni.

ÉTAPE 1 - marquer at 1 7/8 pouce et 6 3/8 pouces

ÉTAPE 2 - Tournez à 90 degré et marquez à 2 1/2 pouces.

ETAPE 3 - Pliez sur les crans avec un plioir, et couper sur la ligne de pli en commençant où le pli vertical rencontre le pli horizontal, de l'intérieur du cercle vers l'extérieur. ( tel qu'indiqué sur la photo)

** If you wish to mat the card, do so before following to step 4.  If not, continue to step 4.
Matting instructions :
Cut one 8 inches circle in pattern paper. I have chose a double sided paper, and used both sides. Then,  I measured and cut pieces for the flaps, the inside section, and the bottom flap, and the little corners,guiding myself on the measurements of the previous larger circle, but cutting them slightly narrower. Position the inside matting before gluing the side pannels. Following by both lateral pannels. Mat the lower pannel before closing the little corners. To glue the folds in place, follow instructions beginning on step 4. 

 ** Si vous souhaitez ajouter du papier à motif à votre base de carte, tel que l'exemple; il vous faudra le faire avant de passer à l'étape 4. Sinon, poursuivez à l'étape 4.

Instructions pour doubler:

Couper un cerle de 8 pouces de diamètre dans un papier à motif. J,ai choisi un papier à double sens, et utilisé les 2 sens. J'ai mesuré et coupé les pièces de papier imprimé en me guidant sur les plis déjà faits pour la base de la carte, et coupant légèrement plus petit. Ajustez les pièces de papier imprimé à la base de la carte, et les coller en place. Puis, continuer de décorer les rabats latéraux, puis en dernier, le petit rabat de la base, et terminer par les coins. Pour coller toutes les pièces, continuer à l'étape 4.

Step 4 - Fold the two little flaps obtained towards the front of the bottom section of the card. then place a strip of double sided tape inside, at the bottom of each lateral flaps . indicated by the arrows.

Etape 4. Formez le pli des 2 rabats latéraux sur le devant de la carte, et placer un ruban collant à l'intérieur. Et coller en place.

Step 5 -  add tape to the bottom section, and the side of the bottom pannel. Glue in place.

Etape 5 . Ajoutez du ruban adhésif sur les côtés et au bas du rabat .

Step 6 - Place a strip of tape at the bottom of the little corners only, as indicated by the arrows.

Etape 6 : Placez un ruban de colle au bas des deux petits coins, tel qu'indiquer par les flêches, et pliez les sur l'endroit de la carte.

Measurements for Inside cards: made with same cardstock as card.

Large one: 4 x 4 1/1 inches; Medium one 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches; small: 3 1/2 x 2 inches. I have matted each cards with remaining of my patterned paper.

EMESURE des cartes intérieures , coupées dans le même carton que la base de la carte.

Le plus grand: 4 X 41/4 pouces

Moyen: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 pouces

petit: 3 1/" par 2 pouces.

J'ai recouvert chacune de ces cartes avec le reste du papier imprimé.
