My First DT duty!

It is with great pleasure and honor that I accepted to join the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Designing Team a while ago. I have been getting acquainted with my sisters DT and enjoying my learning process very much. But today is my very first official post as DT.  Our theme this week is "Layers", you must have at least 5 layers at one point on your card. I had this beautiful image of Chinese Tilda,  and I wanted to take her along this adventure with me. I created an oriental style scene for her, all in softness and whispers... I used as main DP, a gorgeous Basic Grey paper, called Bamboo, from the Lilykate collection; I must admit I had that paper for a while! The rest of the material used came from my stash. The folding screen is made from two layers of cardstock, with a layer of velum in-between. I added some peel-offs from Harmonie in the windows. The sentiment is Stampin'up "Réalise tes rêves" set. Chinese Tilda is from the Magnolia Bon Voyage collection, and is presently in a reorder status at Diana. I colored her with Copics, added some stickles (Cotton Candy), and Smootch (pear) - OH! do I love this stuff! The beautiful ribbon is a gift I received from Diana with one of my orders. I cut the flower pot out of the same cardstock as the screen and made the bouquet with little flowers I had, that were sprayed with Glimer mist, as well as the feathers. I turned the long stemps into little springs, and added pearl branches that I also colored with copics.
I always appreciate your visit, and lovely comments.

And don't forget, come and join the fun with us at
PRIZE: Winner’s Choice of ONE SINGLE!

Bon dimanche matin,
Vos visites me font toujours plaisir, et vos commentaires me comblent.

I have entered my card in the Just Magnolia Challenge, No. 75, Anything goes.
