Tilda decorates .... spring! Tilda veut décorer le printemps! (COLOR THROWDOWN CTD 238

Bon vendredi !
Je me fais rare dernièrement!

Happy Friday,
I have been quiet lately! so many things going on: we just bought a new car, our eldest son and DIL bought a house, and our youngest has joined the ranks as a 3D artist in a renamed studio in Montreal. I have been in my craftroom, relaxing and creating, however! I will have a few projects to present as soon as I can get time to fix the pictures! Today, I would like to share with you a birthday card featuring lovely Tilda trying to embellish spring, well she will have a lot of work to do in Montreal, as the crocus are shivering! I love daffodils and this Tilda is particularily cute!

I love very much those papers from MME, Moments collection. They are a bit vintage, and in pretty shades of white, blue and yellow! I can't wait to use again this pretty set of embossing folder and die cut, by SU. I simply embossed and cut white cardstock, inked in matching colors and heat embossed with iridescent powder. I colored Tilda with copic  on x-press blending card. I think I was a bit generous with the glitter on the flower, but it was my first use of Wink of Stella Brush, and I did not expect such a flow!

Inside, I used a pretty spring scene, and lots of space to write.

A close up of the image, colored with copics.

Your card is beautiful, I love the yellow and black together, so elegant. Love the border on the left too. The inside image is also beautiful, you are so good at decorating your cards, that is your artistic side. The lush ribbon really sets off the love in the card.
So your son is following in your artsy shoes! How fun to share with each other. Sounds like things are going well at your place and it will be fun to see more of your creations.

Woo-hoo... I am the recipient of this card and it looks a hundred times better in real life. Thanks sooo.... much Danielle. I get to appreciate the shine and glitter much better--the picture doesn't really show them. The card is truly fabulous. The colour combo is stunning and this is my fave Tilda from that collection.
I have to keep looking at the calendar. Isn't this suppose to be spring already? I am still waiting...LOL

Magical Danielle and if this beauty doesn't bring you proper spring I don't know what will:D! I love your colouring and this Tilda because she has the daffodil which is a favourite of mine. A great design and colours too, so perfect with her,

Sounds like you're having a busy time at the moment but I'm so glad you're getting some crafting in too. I know how the pictures take the time to get done, I find that the most tedious part LOL!

Take care my friend, hugs, Chris x

Hey Sugar! I am a little behind thanks to two cats, two goats, one puppy and sixteen chickens. But I am still kicking!! Your card is so beautiful Danielle. I have always told you that I thought you to be a very talented artist. I know your youngest son is extremely talented as I have seen his art work. So much going on with your family. Again let me tell you how beautiful your card is inside and out!!!!
