I have chosen to play with the brand new set FARM TASTIC, bt artist Cheryl Grant.

J'ai choisi de jouer avec le jeu Farm Tastic de Chery Grant.

I colored the little boy on the tractor with polychromos, my images are stamped on bristol velum.

I used the brand new stencil 

Radiant Rainbow

to create the background.

I used a lot of Krafty dots, from many different sets, to show where the rainbow starts.

J'ai colorié mon image avec les polychromos, sur bristol velin.

j'ai créé l'arc en ciel avec le tout nouveau stencil

KKS - Blog hop

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new things in our May Release that are now available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All four of the new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink color, Summer Sunshisne, and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday,

and we'r excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop!

I have chosen to work with the FAIRY VILLAGE set

and let myself in a day dream ambiance! I used the little fairy from FAiry Folks  and the little birdies from Up Up and Away

along with the Rainbow Stencil to create a magical scene.

Stamped on Bristol Velum, colored with Polychromos, I worked with inks (list below)  to create the rainbow and sky, and the grass ( with the Wave Stencil); added a few Krafty dots on the sentiment, from Fairy Folks.  Stickles around the image!

KKS - DAY FOUR May 2020 Release - Farm-tastic + challenge

We are closing our festivities with a brand new adorable stamp set from

I teamed the little boy going fishing with the brand new Sunbeam STencil

and played with the new ink color, Summer Sunshine.

Stamped on bristol velum and colored with polychromos.

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes! So Create a card, a scrapbook page, altered item.. with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!

I chose the make a card with the tea pot, because I simply love tea!

I stamped my image on bristol velum, and colored with Polychromos.

Added some Krafty dots to give detailsl!

KKS - Inspirational Wednesday - Out of this world

Hello Krafty Friends!

I was so happy when OUT OF THIS WORLD  got re-stocked lately!

I love those cute monsters, and wanted to create a card with them

for my grand-son sixth birthday!

Le moment où nous vous offrons une inspiration!
Je suis l'hôtesse cette semaine
et je suis heureuse de vous présenter le jeu
OUT OF THIS WORLD
qui est de retour dans la boutique dernièrement.
J'adore ces petits monstres, et j'ai créé une carte pour le sixième anniversaire
de mon petit fils Gabriel.

A long long time ago, in a far far away galaxy,
a close encouter between two adorable monsters
and a young adventurous astronaut occured.

I stamped all my images with Party Peach ink, did a lot of masking `

to squeeze every one in that narrow space.

I lengthen the flag pole held by the astronaut from the set Blast off! to give a sense of height.

The images are colored with Polychromos, on bristol velum. 

I used solvent on the monsters to create a soft shading, and a bit of texture.

I masked all my images to make the sky. Starting close to the planet 

I brushed many coats of Stormy Sky ink, followed by Magical Midnight

Sparkling Sapphire and Bubbly Blue.

I mixed some Gloss heavy gel with lots of silver glitters and 

applied sparingly with the Star Burst Stencil, which I also used to draw the  six stars in the flag, adding some Stickles to make them shine!
I used the Party Time Dots on the sentiment from
Party Time Sentiment set.

Il y a très très longtemps, dans une très lointaine galaxie
eut lieu une rencontre du troisième type
entre deux adorables petits monstres et
un jeune astronaute aventurier!
Mes images sont étampées sur bristol velin avec l'encre Party Peach.
coloriées aux Polychromos; j'ai aussi utilisé du solvant (taltine) pour donner douceur et texture.
j'ai utilisé plusieurs masques pour créer cette scène
et faire entrer tous les personnages dans cet espace quand même étroit.
J'ai allongé le mât du drapeau tenu par le jeune astronaute du jeu Blast off pour donner une sensation de hauteur dans l'image.
Pour créer le ciel, j'ai masqué toutes les images, j'ai utilisé une brosse pour appliquer mon encre,
plusieurs couches ont été nécessaire pour obtenir l'intensité que je souhaitais.
encres:  Stormy Sky, Magical Midnight

Sparkling Sapphire  et Bubbly Blue.
Puis j'ai appliqué une mixture de Gel épais brillant avec beaucoup de brillants argent,
avec le stencil Star Brust, aussi utilisé pour dessiner les étoiles sur le drapeau.
Les Party Time dots décore le sentiment.

May Madness Weekend at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Circular shape fancy fold card

Hello Krafty Friends!

 Here is my project for this May Madness Weekend, a step by step tutorial

to make a fancy fold card, from a round shape.

You will need:

Cardstock plain, 8 1/2 X 11  - to make base of card, plus enough to make inside cards.
Pattern Paper - for matting ( optional)

Cut one 8 1/4 inches diameter circle in plain cardstock.

STEP 1 - score at 1 7/8 and 6 3/8 inches.
STEP 2 - rotate 90 degrees. Score at 2 1/2 inches.
STEP 3 - make folds with bonefolder and cut on the fold line starting where the vertical fold meets the horizontal one, from the inside of the circle towards the outside.

Un tuto : comment faire une carte à plis de fantaisie à partir d'un cercle.

voici, ce dont vous aurez besoin:

Carton uni - 8 1/2 x 11 po. pour la base de la carte, et suffisamment  pour faire les étiquettes intérieures.

Du papier imprimé (pour doubler - optionnel)

Couper un cercle de 8 1/4 pouce de diamètre dans le carton uni.

ÉTAPE 1 - marquer at 1 7/8 pouce et 6 3/8 pouces

ÉTAPE 2 - Tournez à 90 degré et marquez à 2 1/2 pouces.

ETAPE 3 - Pliez sur les crans avec un plioir, et couper sur la ligne de pli en commençant où le pli vertical rencontre le pli horizontal, de l'intérieur du cercle vers l'extérieur. ( tel qu'indiqué sur la photo)

** If you wish to mat the card, do so before following to step 4.  If not, continue to step 4.
Matting instructions :
Cut one 8 inches circle in pattern paper. I have chose a double sided paper, and used both sides. Then,  I measured and cut pieces for the flaps, the inside section, and the bottom flap, and the little corners,guiding myself on the measurements of the previous larger circle, but cutting them slightly narrower. Position the inside matting before gluing the side pannels. Following by both lateral pannels. Mat the lower pannel before closing the little corners. To glue the folds in place, follow instructions beginning on step 4. 

 ** Si vous souhaitez ajouter du papier à motif à votre base de carte, tel que l'exemple; il vous faudra le faire avant de passer à l'étape 4. Sinon, poursuivez à l'étape 4.

Instructions pour doubler:

Couper un cerle de 8 pouces de diamètre dans un papier à motif. J,ai choisi un papier à double sens, et utilisé les 2 sens. J'ai mesuré et coupé les pièces de papier imprimé en me guidant sur les plis déjà faits pour la base de la carte, et coupant légèrement plus petit. Ajustez les pièces de papier imprimé à la base de la carte, et les coller en place. Puis, continuer de décorer les rabats latéraux, puis en dernier, le petit rabat de la base, et terminer par les coins. Pour coller toutes les pièces, continuer à l'étape 4.

Step 4 - Fold the two little flaps obtained towards the front of the bottom section of the card. then place a strip of double sided tape inside, at the bottom of each lateral flaps . indicated by the arrows.

Etape 4. Formez le pli des 2 rabats latéraux sur le devant de la carte, et placer un ruban collant à l'intérieur. Et coller en place.

Step 5 -  add tape to the bottom section, and the side of the bottom pannel. Glue in place.

Etape 5 . Ajoutez du ruban adhésif sur les côtés et au bas du rabat .

Step 6 - Place a strip of tape at the bottom of the little corners only, as indicated by the arrows.

Etape 6 : Placez un ruban de colle au bas des deux petits coins, tel qu'indiquer par les flêches, et pliez les sur l'endroit de la carte.

Measurements for Inside cards: made with same cardstock as card.

Large one: 4 x 4 1/1 inches; Medium one 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches; small: 3 1/2 x 2 inches. I have matted each cards with remaining of my patterned paper.

J'ai créé un signet  avec:

My images are stamped on Bristol velum paper, and colored with polychromos

I used the leaves and vines stencil to create the branch  (inks: Charming Chartreuse, Mossy meadow) to which I draw a little birdhouse.

I also used the Krafty Scenery 1 stencil to make the clouds with

Magical midnight, Sparkling sapphire and bubbly blue inks. 

Glitter around the image is done with stickles, and to enhance the color, I inked the border with Whimsical Wisteria and gorgeous grape inks.

Mes images sont étampées sur bristol velin et mise en couleur aux Polychromos.

La petite branche feuillue est faite avec le  leaves and vines stencil et les encres: Charming Chartreuse, Mossy Meadow) J'ai dessiné une petite cabane d'oiseau!

Le ciel est aussi au stencil, avec Krafty Scenery 1 

et les encres: Magical midnight, Sparkling sapphire et bubbly blue inks. 

du stickle tout autour de l'image sur les bords encrés avec Wimsical Wisteria et Gorgeous Grape.

Un petit gland de soie, et une chaine avec une plume, et une breloque en coeur pour terminer le tout.

to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

and my challenge for you is

Cette semaine, je suis l'hôtesse de ce défi amusant 

qui peut vous aider à garder votre pensée créative en ébullition.

et, mon thème est 

ajouter des couches ( LAYERS)

I love building cards with many layers!

for this one, I started with a plain cardstock, and used both 

Whimsical Wisteria and Gorgeous Grapes 

with our Confetti Stencil to build the base of my card.

I wanted to go vintage, so I went with a flowery patterned paper (from Magnolia)

for my center piece where I wanted to enhance the sentiment

from

PARTY TIME  SENTIMENTS SET from artist Melissa Baker Nguyen

j'aime beaucoup construire des cartes à plusieurs couches

je trouve que cela donne du volume et de la dimension.

Pour la base de cette carte, j'ai commencé avec le Stencil Confetti

et les encres Whimsical Wisteria et Grogeous Grapes.

J'avais envie d'un style vintage, qui marierait bien ces teintes de violet.

j'ai choisi un papier imprimé à fleur de Magnolia, qui mettrait en valeur

mon sentiment

de l'ensemble PARTY TIME SENTIMENT SET  de l'artiste Melissa Baker Nguyen.

A die cut doily from Marianne Design constitutes the center piece,

to which I added an inside circle with same paper

finally placing my sentiment.

I created a bouquet, decorated it with string ribbons.

I added purple color to my flowers with same shades of inks and

completed their glittery finish with Glamour dust cristal. 

little krafty dots at the opposite corner to add details.

Une découpe de Marianne Design constitue la pièce centrale,

auquel j'ai ajouté un cercle fleuri pour rappeler la base

Puis mon sentiment embossé avec l,encre purple grapes.

Pour compléter le tout, un bouquet de fleurs, dont les couleurs ont été rehaussées

à l'encre violet, et enduite de Glamour dust pour plus de brillant.

un ruban jute, allant bien avec le style vintage complète le tout.

sans oublier, les petits Krafty dots dans le coin opposé aux fleurs.

SIMPLY MAGNOLIA - MAY CHALLENGE - ANYTHING GOES OPTION RED - WHITE - BLUE

Bonjour! Qui dit premier jour du mois, dit nouveau défi chez

Simply Magnolia.

En plus du thème général, l'inspiration ce mois ci:

les couleurs rouge, blanc et bleu

j'ai créé une carte avec Nurse Tilda de la collection Winner takes it all

(2011), elle est imprimé sur bristol velin, colorié aux crayons de bois.

L'arrière plan est un stencil de Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps,

Sweater Weather et l,encre Stormy Sky.

Ajouté quelques krafty dots aux couleurs du défi!

Colored it on bristol velum, with pencils.
