Welcome back to another Scrappy fun at 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

We challenge you to make anything but a card.

I created a bookmark/tag  with the adorable set from Cheryl Grant,

You're Pretty Fly

I used only a part of the image on my creation,

stamped on bristol velum and colored with Polychromos.

I did the clouds with the Chubby Cloud Stencil

and did the vignetting with Bubbly blue and Magical Midnight inks

I added Stickles around my image.

To finish it all, I inserted my tag in a cute little pocket, decorated with a tassel, a feather and charms.

KKS Challenge #520 - all for the boys

   

It is time for another Saturday Challenge at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

our hostess Anna's theme is 

All for the boys.

Great timing as I had to make a card for my son's 31st birthday!

I used  the following stamp sets to create my scene:

It's a mystery Neda Sadreddin

     Caroling Cuties , also by Neda Sadreddin

for the lamp post.

IMages were stamped on Bristol Velum with  Party Peach Ink to be colored in the no line technique, with Polychromos crayons.

The wall background was designed with the Brick Wall stencil inTotally Taupe and Granite Grey inks. I used Yummy Yellow, Creamy Caramel and Wicked Black around the image, along with stickles.

Mes images sont imprimées avec l'encre Party peach sur Bristol Velin, parfaite pour la technique sans ligne, et coloriées avec les Polychoromos.

J'ai utilisé le stencil Brick Wall et les encres Totally Taupe, Gratite Grey pour l'arrière plan. Le pourtour de l'image est encré avec Yummy Yellow, Creamy Caramel and Wicked Black, et rehaussé de stickles.

Yep! Halloween papers!!!  perfect for a 31st birthday.
A brad from Tim Holtz, also from a Halloween collection to decorate the wooden arrow, Black Spooky enamel dots to enhance the sentiment, and add details on the card.

I also decorated the inside with the remaining patterned papers.

I used the dog, the magnifying glass and prints from the set

French Sentiment is from Simple à souhait Bonne fête set.

J'ai utilisé les restes de papiers imprimés pour compléter l'intérieur.

La loupe, le chien et les pistes de pas sont du même jeu.

Inspirational Wednesday - Cold noses

Hello krafty friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra

krafty inspiration to help you get creative

with your krafty stamps!

I am sharing with you today a fun double scrapbooking page layout

 with a set that I love so much from artist Cheryl Grant  

called COLD NOSES!

Je partage aujourd'hui une page double mettant en vedette Lulu et Luca
du jeu COLD NOSES de l,artiste Chery Grant.

 Lulu and Lucas having fun in the snow, were perfect to complete pictures of my grand-children first skating experience ! I used February sketch from Creative Scrapbookers Magazine Sketch group to start; I stamped my images on bristol velum with Party Peach Ink, perfect for the no line technique,  and colored with pencils. I also played with the sentiments from the set, either by stamping them directly on the images and as little journaling notes on my pages. I used KKS hybrind inks on my chipboard letters to give them a bit of contrast ( colors: Pretty in Pink and Bubbly blue)  Love these inks very much because they dry waterproof, and won't react with the coats of glamour dust I put on my letters. I spread some krafty dots 

 Ces deux petits accompagnent merveilleusement mes petits enfants à leur première expérience de patinage. Pour réaliser mes pages, je me suis inspirée du sketch de février de la page FB de Creative Scrapbookers Magazine Sketch group. J'ai colorié mes images avec des Polychromos sur bristol velin, après les avoir étampées avec l'encre party Peach, parfait pour la technique sans ligne. Je me suis aussi servie des sentiments de ce jeu en guise de journaling sur ma page. Les lettres ont subi tout un traitement! elles étaient au départ bleu foncé et rose fushia! beaucoup de peinture, de brillant et de Glamour dust, un peu d'encre Pretty in Pink et de Bubbly blue dans les bouts pour donner un peu de couleur. j'ai aussi donné le même traitement aux flocons de neige. puis j'ai ajouté des krafty dots donnant un peu de texture.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #517 Favorite creature or critter

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This week I am your hostess
and my challenge for you is to.... 

Use your FAVE KKS Critter or Creature!!

 I cheated a bit... Unicorns are my grand-daughter's favorite creatures so I created her third birthday card  with Becky's adorable UNICORNS & RAINBOWS stamps.

Cette semaine je suis votre hôtesse, et mon défi est d'utiliser votre créature ou votre bestiole favorite parmi toutes celles de Kraftin' Kimmie.
J'ai triché... un peu! puisque les licornes sont les créatures magiques favorites de ma petite fille! Alors j'ai choisi ce jeu UNICORNS & RAINBOWS de Becky pour créer un univers magique pour fêter ses 3 ans.

  I stamped my image with Party peach ink perfect for the no line technique used here, and colored with pencils on bristol velum.  I used the Chubby Clouds stencil, the Bubbly blue ink  (which is on sale now!) and Magical Midnight inks (for the vignetting effect) to make the heavenly scene. I added lots of stickes, Sakura Gelly roll on the hair cause I LOVE glitter! and, of course, could not go without adding Krafty dots ! 
Hope you will get creative and share with us your favorite KKS critter or creature!

Pour réaliser la technique sans ligne, j'ai étampé mon image sur bristol velin avec l'encre Party peach  et colorié mon image avec les Polychromos. Pour concevoir ma scène céleste, j'ai pris le stencil Chubby Clouds, les encres Bubbly Blue ( qui est présentement en vente) et Magical Midnight. Il y a beaucoup de Stickles, les cheveux des licornes sont tracés au crayons brillant Sakura, et bien entendu j'ai ajouté des Krafty Dots

I made a bookmark with the set Happy Hummingbird.

Stamped on Canson Mi teinte, colored with Fabercastel Polychromos

I used Embossing paste with the Fabulous Feathers stencil to create texture.

The vigneting is made with Magical Midnight, Salty Sea, Bubbly Blue, 

and a bit of Mossy Meadow and Charming Chartreuse in the bottom corner.

Slipped it in a little pocket, added a tassel, a feather and a charm!

voilà!

J'ai créé un signet avec le jeu

Les feuilles texturées à l'arrière plan sont de

pate à embosser avec le stencil FABULOUS FEATHERS.

Signet glissé dans une petite pochette,

décorée d'un gland de fil de satin, d'une plume et d'une petite breloque.

It is Day THREE of February Krafty Peeks

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It is our FINAL day of peeks and everything you've seen 

us share will be in the online shop on Sunday afternoon.

We are closing things out with a brand new adorable stamp set from

artist neda Sadreddin called 

THAT'S A WRAP!

Check out this calm and relaxed lady!

 Make peaceful creation for somone who deserves a break!

Of course today is also Challenge Day

and as always, during release week the theme is 

Anything goes!

You have until February 14th to play along!

This awesome stamp set inspired me another little mixed media canvas

I created the dreamcatcher with hot glue,

in the background you can see the feathersdone with the 

Fabulous Feathers stencils.

I separated the sentiment  and used Krafty dots . 

I spread a bit of Pretty in pink behind the dreamcatcher

and used Magical Midnight ink for the outside.

My little meditating lady is colored with Polychromos,

and a few jewels added to the dreamcatcher.

en plein centre d'un capteur de rêve réalisé avec de la colle chaude

A l'arrière plan, les plumes sont faites avec de la pâte à embosser et le

nouveau stencil Fabulous Feathers.

Un peu d'encre rose (Pretty in Pink) derrière le capteur,

et tout autour, Magical Midnight.

L'étampe est coloriée aux Polychromos.

I wanted to go full spring direction with this set! 

I created a mixed media canvas ( 4 X 6)

The tree is made with hot glue, all the BG is done with Kraftin' Kimmie Inks,

Magical Midgnight, Salty Sea, Bubbly blue and Charming Chartreuse.

I stamped my images on Bristol Velum, colored with Polychromos.

Last spring, we were priviledged with the visit of many species of warblers.

I gave the colors of the American Redstart to my little birdies!

Ce joli ensemble m'a inspiré un canevas mixte media.

j'ai créé l'arbre avec de la colle chaude, puis j'ai ajouté des perles et des micro billes

pour donner de la texture.

j'ai utilisé les encres hybrides suivantes de KKS pour l'arrière plan 

charming chartreuse, Magical Midnight , Salty Sea, Bubbly Blue.

Mes images sont coloriées aux Polychromos sur Bristol velim.

J,ai donné à mes petits oiseaux les couleurs de la Paruline Flamboyante,

que j'ai eu le bonheur d'observer le printemps dernier, 

alors qu,elle était en pleine migration.

This is the card I created with this awesome stamp set.

I stamped the flowers several time to create a plant, similar to the ones growing in my park

where I can watch the Hummingbirds fly by 

and eat nectar from this cute flower called: Impatiens Capensis

I also used the following inks to create the shadowy background

Bubbly Blue, Salty Sea, Blue Lagoon, Magical Midnight

Voici la carte que j'ai créé  avec ce joli jeu d'étampes.

j'ai recréé un coin fleuri similaire à l'endroit où je peux observer en août ces oiseaux

qui viennent se nourrir du nectar de cette plante appelée Impatiente du cap.
