Something for you.. -- Quelque chose pour toi...

Happy Sunday!
This week at Stamptacular our theme is "A time for giving" meaning we have to create a gift I would give to somene on a special occasion. I am terrible at creating "objects"! I have tried putting together a box, it was complete disaster... worse, I have no imagination at all! Of course, I GOOGLED to find a special project, that would require less precision than a box, no success! Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a worshop with the very talented Jennifer McGuire. I spent a whole day playing with stamps, inks, trying different techniques, having fun, and end up quite exhausted! I'm getting old, it seems, even dark chocolate did not seem t give me energy. I was inded hoping for something to inspire me for this DT project. However, in a three-hour class, we had 6 to 8 card or projects to prepare.  And we decorated this little bag, this is simple enough for me, but the inking technique is quite interesting. The gorgeous swirl background is a white cardstock, inked in Chipped `Sapphire, on which a swirl stamp is sprayed with a mixture of water and perfect pearl. I colored in red the nice snowflake and added a rhinestone star. I had to put Tilda with gifts (#249) as she is another one of my favourites! and she was already colored. I thought that this very simple project could make a nice little gift for each guest at the Christmas table. Hope you will enjoy.

Bon dimanche,

Hi Danielle, How dare to say that you have no imagination. My God my friend you are full of imagination. Just look at what you create and the stories that you write. I have nothing but praise to say about your new project and every other project you create. Wow you learned a lot in that class. Your paper and everthing is absolutely beautiful and perfect. I'm thankful that you share your talent with us. Hugs my friend, Cathy-Lynn
