Tournesol & Papillon / Sunflower & Butterfly - FRIDAY SKETCHERS

Bon lundi à vous chères amies,       (The english text follows, please scroll down.)

Happy Monday, dear friends.
My sweet DIL had a special request for me: a birthday card for her mom, with a sunflower... I had received this wonderful Impression Obsession Sunflower & Butterfly image in an exchange this fall. It was just perfect! I rummaged through ma papers in search of a bright yellow DP and found this wonderful Daffodil Delight in my Bright collection paper pad, fresh from my new Stampin Up kit. Isn't it beautiful? I married it to Chocolate Chip cardstock. Perfect match. What a change of palette, after all these Christmas cards... I worked with the beautiful sketch from Friday Sketchers. I colored my image with Copics. Jute and ribbon are both a gift from my friend Christina. The corner is a Cuttlebug die cut, the label is from Spellbinder. The cute buttons are from Stampin'up, under them, I cut a cardstock button with MFT dyecut. Sentiments are all from Stampin up sets: Voeux mignons, Douces pensées and Sur les ailes d'un papillon, I also used the butterfly punch. The inside tag is from a Tim Holtz diecut.
My DIL loved the card, I hope her mom will love it also.
Let this wonderful light fill your winter day!
Thank you for visiting my blog. You bring sunshine in my day!
