INVENTORY CHALLENGE No. 20 AND MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS CHRISTMAS ALL YEAR LONG

The saying Two is better than one is all in force today! Not one challenge, but two! Friday is  Inventory Challenge day, for Christina and I, along with our fantastic team of followers; plus, today is the 25th of the month, also our rendez-vous for Magnolia-licious Christmas all year long blog hop.  If you follow the blog hop and arrive from  Barb you are on the right track.

Bon vendredi,

Since time is always an issue, I managed to make one card suiting both! This project was inspired by a tutorial  for a criss-cross pocket card I saw on Jeanette's blog. I thought this style of card is very interesting, it offers lots of possibilities and is quite fun to make. AND, you can use scraps of paper!
My card features Tilda with Fir, presently not available at Diana's; I colored her with Distress inks on watercolor paper. I used stickles on her hat and coat.

I also discovered the use of Stampin'up heat and stick powder, that I really like more than glue to stick glitters, This is the technique I used to decorate the inside card and the mistletoe leaves.

thank you for stopping by and leaving me wonderful comments. I love to thank everyone of you personally via email, however, I have experienced problems mysterious problems lately: all comments left on my blog stopped being transferred to my hotmail box, this without having changed anything into the Settings section of my blog.... It seems I am not the only one; however, the reason for this, is unknown. I suspect Microsoft Explorer for being responsible, as they experienced problems with their security settings, but cannot prove it. If anyone has any info on this matter, I would love to hear about it.

I would like to invite your to visit my dear friend Chistina's blog, and our other team-mates blogs, which address are listed below, and view all their wonderful creation.

Magnolia licious blog hop followers, please continue to the very talented: Glenda.

Your card is gorgeous, Dani! You've done a beautiful job painting Tilda with the DI's. The dimension is fabulous. I haven't used Heat and Stick for so long I think I forget how to use it. Your glitter is so pretty done this way...This style of card is super to use up left over paper. I'll have to remember that! Hugs,

Bonjour, Danielle!
Your card is beautiful! I've used a lot this Tilda for my Christmas cards and love it. You've colored her amazingly. She looks so 'chrissy', as if painted from an old oil picture.
Lovely glittery heat embossing. Love it too!
Just adorable!

The colors you have used are beautiful together and the note inside is gorgeous! Will be looking into the heat and stick powder - it really shows up well on your card.

Danielle, I'm liking this blog hop. I'm getting a lot of inspirations from it. Only to my 2nd card and already 2 styles of cards that I haven't tried before. What a gorgeous card you've made. Beautiful colouration of this adorable Tilda. I've never tried DI, though (do you like it?). Thanks for the link for this criss-cross pocket card--I'll have to give it a try.
