Happy Monday dear blogging friends,
Saturday was our fun day crop at Scrapbook ta vie; we had chosen a magical theme: the Witches Bal,  each DT played a specific role and suggested challenges to her colors, that participants had fun realizing. I was Witch Rainbow, who challenged everyone to make BLACK live with colors, I saw wonderful projects. I also gave a little workshop on the magic of origami. My dear friend Cathy Lynn inspired me with this project, Thank you Cathy, we had fun! Below are the projects I had prepared as inspiration!

This is a cute little Witch basket, all in black decorated for Halloween. The handle was made out of a plastic cutting sheet, covered with black cardstock, a cute little satin ribbon, and a lovely punched border. On each side I glued lace and decorated the base of the handle with flowers covered in glitter.

This model is more like a box, with it,s little cover. It was made in a beautiful Christmas paper in lavender color. I used a styrofoam ball, cut at 2/3 of it,s and glued it on the cover, to add dimention to the bouquet. All the flowers were covered with my favourite glitter product: Glamour Dust from Deco art.

This one is a lot smaller, it was made from a 6 X 6 design paper, and measures about 2 1/2 inches, I offered it along with the necklace as a little gift.

Danielle, all I can say about your three boxes are WOW, WOW, WOW. Never have I seen origami boxes so richly and beautifully decorated. And you can't really tell from the picture, but OMG they are so small that you must have nimble fingers to decorate them. Kudos.

Norma

Martine
