Merci de votre visite! Il y aurait toute une histoire à raconter avec cette carte! mais je vais tout simplement en dire qu'elle est bien spéciale. J'ai choisi l'image de Karen Middelton, Hope, imprimée sur x-press blending card, et coloriée aux copics. Sur les ailes de l'ange j'ai ajouté du Wink of stella et beaucoup de glossy accent. J,ai utilisé un fil doré pour donner du relief à son auréole. Mes papiers sont de Kaiser Kraft, Sweet Nothing. Fleurs et rubans de mon inventaire.

thank you for stopping by! there would be a lot to say about this card! But I will simply say that it is very special. I chose Karen Middelton, Hope, printed on x-press blending card and colored with copics. On her wings, I added Wink of stella glittering marker, and a heavy coat of glossy accent. I used a gold jewelry wire to create her halo. My papers are from Kaiser Kraft, Sweet Nothing. Flowers and ribbons from my stash.

 à l'intérieur, une petite carte pour inscrire un mot personnel, j'ai trouvé dans mes étampes Stampin up, cette phrase particulièrement touchante: "Les anges sont là, invisibles, nous murmurant des paroles d'amour les jours de joie comme les jours de peine". N'est pas joli? Beaucoup de frantage et d'embossage pour décorer. Il y a un joli petit ange dans le bas de la page de droite, entouré de frantage.

For the inside, a little card with a  cut butterfly from my cricut, I found such a lovely sentiment in my Stampin up stamps it says: (my translation) "Angels are there, invisible, breathing us words of love, days of joy as well as days of sadness". Lots of embossing and frantage to decorate. There is a lovely little angel stamped at the bottom of the right page, surrendered by frantage.

Je vous remercie de votre passage, et ne soyez pas surprise, ce n'est pas une carte que je partage avec vous ce matin. Bien que la carterie soit devenue ma marque de commerce, je suis une touche à tout, une artiste dans bien des domaines. Ce n'est pas avec prétension que je me qualifie d'artiste, mais tout simplement parce que je suis une personne qui s'autorise à devenir CRÉATIVE, et cette définition n'est pas de moi, mais bien de  Julia Cameron, dont le livre Libérez votre créativité, me guide dans cette démarche. Je n'entrerai pas ici dans un essai philosophique sur l'art, sauf que je me dois d'avouer publiquement que  je suis une artiste bloquée. Je vous vois sourciller... et j'irai droit au but. Oui, malgré le talent, et surtout à cause du talent, je suis bloquée! je contrôle mon univers créatif, et je suis devenue  très perfectionniste, ce qui m'amène souvent à abandonner un projet parce qu'il ne tourne pas comme j'ai décidé, ou à ne rien faire dutout. A cet instant précis, les fantômes de mes ex-professeurs murmurent à mes oreilles des critiques qui n'ont rien de constructives à ce sujet.  J'ai donc comme objectif: de laisser passer le flow" créatif librement,  de libérer mes lignes et mes couleurs et de témoigner ici de l'expérience! Pas question ici de parler techniques, perspectives, ombres et lumières! Mais de liberté, de plaisir, de jeu! Je suis simplement contente d'avoir le courage d'afficher cette page ici, au yeux de tous; je suis contente d'avoir ressorti ma boîte de pastel, contente de m'être sali les doigts, le résultat, ici, est bien secondaire. Bien que très timide, cette page veut dire beaucoup. Avant de partager ma page, je tiens à remercier Catherine, de créations CeeCee et son vlog You tube, pour son partage, son enthousiasme et sa spontanéité, elle est pour moi une inspiration; ainsi que son amie Judy, qui a écrit ce mentra que j'ai mis en titre.

thank you for stopping by my blog! Please do not be surprised today! I am not sharing a card, as you would expect. Although I very much associate myself with cardmaking in this blog world, I am quite a versatile artist. I qualify myself as an  "artist" without any pretention, simply because I use Julia Cameron's definition of the term, being "a person who authorizes herself to be creative".  I will not start a discussion on either philosophy or spirituality, here. However, I choose to  testify of this journey publicly because I am a blocked artist. What? I can hear you say... yes. Despite the talent, and mainly because of the talent, I am a blocked artist. I control  my creative spirit,I have become a perfectionist, as a result I give up on many projects. At this very moment, I can hear my ex-art teachers' ghosts mutter not so constructive criticism to my hears...  The  goal,here, is to let the "flow" free, to free my lines, my colors and to share this experience. No room for techniques, perspective, shades and light here. Only, freedom, fun and play!  I am only happy to have the courage to post this modest page here, to be seen by every one, to have taken by long abandonned box of dry pastel out, to have dirtied my fingers pretty much; the result here is very secondary! This page my not look like much, but it certainly makes a lot of sense. Before sharing my page, I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart Catherine, from Créations CeeCee, and You-tube Channel, without her support and inspiration, I would not have dare embarking upon this journey, and her friend Judy, who is the author of the mentra mentioned in the title.

thank you for taking a moment to stop by my blog!  Today, I have a special card to show you. It is dedicated to a young woman who will graduate next month to become a nurse. Since she had been working part time in the dining room of the residence where her grand mother lives, and will be leaving this occupation, I was asked to create a keepsake for her in which all the resident she was close to would write a little message for her.

Merci de votre visite! Aujourd'hui,en ce beau dimanche pluvieux j'ai une carte toute spéciale à partager avec vous. Elle est dédiée à une jeune fille qui reçoit ce mois-ce son diplôme d'infirmière.  Elle quitte l'emploi qu,elle a occupé ces dernières années, à la résidence où demeure sa grand-nany comme elle l'appelle tendrement. C'est cette dernière qui m'a demandé de créer pour elle un souvenir où les résidents pourraient lui laisser un message.

Inside, I was asked by her grand mother to include. I used a spellbinder tag, lovely corners, and a bit of frantage to decorate. Because about 30 people would sign the card, I put together a little booklet, thus leaving enough space for everyone to write a little message. On the right hand picture,  you can see it opened.

Voici l'intérieur portant une citation de sa grand-maman. Un petit carnet contenant plusieurs pages pour permettre aux quelques 30 personnes de signer, vous pouvez le voir ouvert, sur la photo de droite.

  

It was, of course, presented in her little Boitatou. I used the same spellbinder and cut the letters with my cricut. 

Bien entendu, cette carte était présentée avec sa Boitatou coordonnée! J,ai utilisé les spellbinder pour créer des étiquettes, mes lettres sont coupées avec ma cricut.

Merci de vous arrêter un moment sur mon blogue!Je ne suis pas trés présente dernièrement. Que la mauvaise température a joué sur mon baromètre personnel, est une raison; mais, j'ai été prise dans un "remaniement général" de mon atelier, réorganisation totale obligée après un accident sur mon aquarium  qui a failli me coûter cher! Maintenant que tout est sous contrôle, me voilà revenue à ma petite routine avec bonheur, et en pleine création. C'était l'anniversaire de ma belle amie Brigitte qui réside - plus pour longtemps- à Eastern Passage en Nouvelle Écosse. Brigitte aime les chats plus que tout et la couleur violet! C'est Tilda - bélier que j'ai choisi pour sa carte, ce qu'elle est mignonne!

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I appreciate your visits and comments, always! Although,lately , I am not very present. Bad weather we had recently greatly influenced my "physical barometer", then I ended up reoganizing my whole craftroom, on account of an accident that almost cost me my paper collection! I dropped something on the top of my aquarium, and it cracked, but thank god, there was no leak. Now that everything is under control, I am back to my little routine with happiness and I am full creation! It was the birthday of my sweet friend Brigitte who lives, for now,  in Eastern Passage, NS,but will be moving pretty soon! Brigitte loves cats most of all, and color purple! I chose Aries Tilda for her card, isn't she sweet.

Just completed this card requested by a sweet lady to offer to her nice who recently gave birth to a new baby boy! Speaking of baby, well it is not confirmed that we will be grand parents to a baby boy in June, if the trend continues, he will be named Gabriel! I bet you would like to see him? My sweet DIL share the ultrasound picture :

Merci de votre visite! J'espère que vous allez bien! et que vous avez de la température plus clémente que nous, ici à Montréal, il a neigé ce matin, et c'est encore tout blanc pour ce début de printemps. J'adore l'hiver, mais je commence à avoir envie de voir du vert!
Je viens de terminer une carte demandée par une gentille dame pour offrir à sa nièce qui vient tout juste d'accoucher un bébé garçon. Parlant bébé, nous serons grand-parents d'un petit bébé garçon en juin, si la tendance se maintient, il s'appellera Gabriel! Je gage que vous aimeriez le voir? voici une photo de l'échographie que ma belle-fille a partagé!

On to my card. I used Baby Edwin from Prince and Princesses collection of 2012, stamped on express blending card,and colored with copics. The cute star border is cut with my cricut, and my papers are from a collection from Creative memories that I do not recall the name.
À la carte maintenant! C,est Baby Edwin,de la collection Prince and Princesses 2012, qui fait la une. Il est imprimé sur xpress blending card, colorié aux copics. Mon papier est de Creative Memories,et la jolie bordure en étoile est coupée avec ma cricut.

I remained with the star them on the inside. Added a little card with a personal wish. I used lots of frantage on this card, and I love this technique so much.
Pour l'intérieur,  les étoiles sont encore à l'honneur. j'ai ajouté une petite carte où sont inscrits des voeux personnels. J,ai utilisé beaucoup de frantage  sur cette carte,j'adore cette technique.

The matching box was inspired by Sandra,I love how she opened and rolled the paper; I inserted a star border, frantage the background and used cute little Salley the monkey, to who I gave a special "treatment". I glued velour on her to imitate the fur, and embed micro beads in glossy accent to give a 3d aspect to the crown.

La décoration de ma Boitatou est une inspiration de Sandra.J,aime comment elle a roulé les rebords du papier. Je pouvais ainsi dévoiler une jolie banderolle d'étoiles,posée par dessus un simple carton blanc, avec du frantage. C'est Sally the monkey qui fait la une ici, il a d'abord été colorié aux copics,mais j'ai collé du velours pour donner l'aspect fourrure, et la petite couronne en 3d, est composée de micro bille sur glossy accent.

Inspiration angélique - Inspiration from an angel.

OH! qu'il fut long "d'accoucher" de cette carte! À un tel point que j'ai failli renoncer à ce projet.  C'est une demande spéciale qui en est à l'origine, et en plus, cette carte  est destinée à un professeur de peinture. J'avais deux points de départ, une prière d'artiste et un ange qui devait représenter l'inspiration. Quel soulagement lorsque j'ai trouvé en fouillant internet cette carte créée par Mina, qui représentait exactement ce que je voulais, je m'en suis grandement inspirée et je l'en remercie. L'image s'appelle Angelic, de l'artiste Rachel Anderson (Sweet Pea stamps), elle est imprimée sur x-press blending card, colorée aux copics et aux Faber Castel. Mes papiers sont de TimHoltz. Les jolies volutes sont des chipboards de Harmonie et les coins sont de Make it crafty. j'ai simplement collé un coton fromage pour donner l'impression de nuage, ajouté des stickles et des brillants turquoise.

Am I ever happy to post today! I almost gave up on this project. I got a special request to create a card for an art teacher, the card would have to include a small prayer and an angel. It was a relief for me to find inspiration from a card from Mina , I thank her very much. My image is fromRachel Anderson - Angelic (Sweet Pea Stamps),it is printed on x-press blending card, colored with copics, and accent withFaber Castel. My papers are from TimHoltz. The lovely swirls are chipboards from Harmonie, corners fromMake it Crafty. I simply decorated with cheesecloth to givethe impression of a cloud, added stickles and aqua glitters.

Je voulais trouver une façon originale d'intégrer la prière sans pour autant qu'elle prenne toute la place. j'ai donc décidé de l'intégrer dans une jolie petite carte et de concevoir la déco intérieur autour de celle-ci. J,ai utilisé les découpes de Marianne Design  (collection Anja) un stencil de Crafter's workshop, Mini art is, beaucoup de poudre à embosser et de frantage pour décorer,et les superbes étampes Stampleglede,Vintage garden- mes favorites de toutes. Cette carte sera offerte en guise de cadeau d'anniversaire,  c'est une petite carte glissée sous un demi-cercle, qui porte les voeux.

 The  prayer is written in the little card slipped under the scalloped border. I used Marianne Design die cuts (Anja collection), a Crafter's workshop Stencil- Mini Art is, lots of embossing powder and frantage and the wonderful Stampleglede stamps,Vintage gaden - my all time favourite. This card will also bring birthday wishes, lots of space has been provided to write them in the little tag, slipped under the half scalloped circle.  

Bien entendu, elle sera accompagnée de sa Boitatou. Encore une fois beaucoup de poudre à embosser, du frantage, un coton fromage enduit de Goose bums, et saupoudré de brillants. Une petite carte où apparaît le nom du destinataire, qui je le souhaite, sera content.

Of course, it will be paired with it's Boitatou. Again,lots of embossing powder and frantage, cheese cloth sprayed with Goose Bumps, and sprinkled with glitter. In the middle, a little card with the recipient's name, whom, I hope will be very happy.

Je me fais rare ces temps ci! mon temps créatif se passe derrière le viseur de ma caméra plutôt qu'à mon pupitre! Je découvre une autre façon d'exprimer la vie, c'est à la fois fascinant et éprouvant. Je ne vais pas vous raconter mes aventures en photos ici, je pense plutôt créer un 2e blogue uniquement sur la photographie et partager simplement mon parcours, comme je le fais ici avec me créations, c'est à suivre.

I am very low profile these days! My allowed time to create takes place behind the viewfinder of my camera rather than at my desk coloring. I discover a new way to express life, it is both fascinating and very "testing" for me. I am not going to relate here my stories in the Photography world, I think about creating a second blog dedicated only to this technique to share my journey simply as I do here.

Notre fils Bruno a célébré ses  25 ans le 18 février, j'ai voulu créer pour lui une carte spéciale pour souligner ce tournant de la vie, ce premier quart de siècle comme on s'amuse à l'appeler chez nous! Bruno est l'artiste de la famille, ses créations m'ont toujours touchée profondément. Il avait 2 ans et couchait son âme dans ses dessins, ses contrastes étaient puissants, il était fasciné par le noir; encore aujourd'hui, il a cette façon très personnelle et unique de jouer avec les couleurs et les formes, d'imprégner la vie dans ses images. J,ai trouvé une étampe de MoManning qui lui ressemble ! même Pierre a dit, "ben, c'est tout à fait lui, ca!" Alors voici ma carte:

Our son Bruno will turn 25 on the 18th of this month, I wanted a special card to emphasize this moment in life, his first quarter of century, as we love calling it in our family! Bruno is our artist, his creations always touched me deeply. He was only 2, and already drawing his soul! His style is unique, he was and still is fascinated by black, his contrasts are always very strong, he plays with colors and shapes in a very personal way. I found an image of Mo Manning that could have been created for him,  his computer and tablet are his main tools to create as a 3d artist. Even hubby agreed when he saw the image, saying it did look like him so much. this is my card:

Computer Guy de MoManning est imprimé sur xpress blending card, coloriée aux copics. Ce style C&S me plait de plus en plus! je délaisse les boucles et les fleurs, pour aller vers un style plus dépouillé qui donne toute l'importance à l'image qui le mérite bien, puisque la mise en couleur prend pas mal de temps. 

Computer Guy by MoManning is printed on xpress blending card, and colored with copics. I love this C&S style, I let behind bows and flowers to adopt a bare style, that gives all the importance to the image, which we all know, takes quite a few hours to make and deserves this honor.

Voici l'intérieur qui souligne 25 ans, j'ai utilisé les papiers de Tim Holtz, dont le style antique convenait parfaitement à cette carte masculine.

It was important to me to emphasize the 25 years;I used Tim Holtz papers- I loved the antique style for this masculine card.

Thank you for visiting! It's been a long time since I posted. It's also been along time since I really sat down in front of my table to create. I do sit at my table, only to study! I told you about my photography course, well I must say it shows I have not been a student for a while! my head is ready to explode on new terminology! that is to say that on the first course, the only word I truly could relate to was "monochromatic". I understood I was not photo 101, but photo pre-school level! However, with perseverance and work, I hope it will all make sense and allow me to switch from AUTO mode to manual without to much headache!

Merci de votre visite! Il y a longtemps depuis mon dernier message, il y a aussi un bout depuis que je me sois assise à ma table de travail pour créer, j'y viens surtout pour étudier... Mes cours de photographie exigent un peu plus que de la pratique. Surtout que je me suis rendue compte que je n'étais pas niveau photo 101 mais bien maternelle, lorsque qu'à la fin du premier cours j'ai réalisé que le seul mot avec lequel j'étais vraiment familière était "monochromatique". Avec un peu de persévérence, je pourrai passer plus aisément du mode Auto au mode manuel qui me faisait si peur... 

January 15th was the birthday of a very special blog friend. I wanted to create something especially for her, I create by inspiration in those occasion, and  inspiration has it's own rules. I cannot force when this happens. The wonderful Pion papers just imposed themselves, and yes they truly connect with her. The image showed up a few days later, in Tilda with cross necklace, from the Special moments collection. Then, it all came together. I was about to close the box and mail everything, when I knew something was missing. Go find out why, I assembled everything to create a little key chain, but no do, the pieces lied there until I visited Kelly's blog and saw exactly what was missing! thank you, Kelly for providing me the missing piece of my puzzle. It took time, I know by now I cannot rush inspiration, if I agree to follow it. I could create just about anything, put elements together and obtain a satisfactory result,  but the feeling is not the same; and it is that feeling I am looking for.

Le 15 janvier dernière était l'anniversaire d'une amie de blogue très précieuse. Je voulais créer quelque chose d'unique pour elle. Dans ce cas, je crée par inspiration, et l'inspiration gère ses propres règles. Impossible de forcer les choses lorsque je choisis ce mode de création. Les éléments se présentent un à un à leur rythme, et je me dois de respecter, sinon je perds le fil! bien entendu, je peux créer dans un autre mode, mais je n'éprouve pas le même sentiment de plénitude. Les éléments se sont présentés ainsi, le papier Pion, Tilda with cross necklace, de la collection Special Moments et la carte est "entrée" toute seule. J'avais pris les photos et j'étais sur le point de l'envoyer lorsqu'il m'est apparu clair, que quelque chose manquait. Il me fallait ajouter "quoi?"  Puis, en visitant le blogue de Kelly, la pièce manquant est apparue sous la forme d'un petit ange! J,avais pourtant étalé sur ma table les pièces pour faire un porte clef! 

After all this bla bla... on to this card. My papers are from Pion, would not know the specific collection, as it was my very last piece, Tilda was colored with copics on x-press blending card. all decorative elements from my stash.

Voici  ma carte. J'ignore la collection de ces magnifiques papiers Pion, il ne me restait que ce qui se trouve sur cette carte; Tilda est coloriée aux copics, sur papier x-press, et tous les éléments décoratifs sont de mon inventaire. 

I decorated the inside with all the bits and pieces left overs. The message card was created with my cricut, Art philosophy cartridge, that I simply adore.

J'ai décoré l'intérieur avec ce qu,il me restait. L'espace message est coupé avec ma Cricut - cassette Art Philosophy, que j'adore. (clin d'oeil à Brigitte!!!)

this is the little key chain. You will recognize easily my inspiration for the little angel. I had those little wings for a while, and did not know where I could use them... they were waiting for this specific project. I call that magic!

Since I mailed the card and gift in the little box, I decorated the inside! again with my Cricut.
Puisque je poste la carte dans sa boitatou, je n'ai décoré que l'intérieur, encore une fois avec ma Cricut.

It is my return on blog world! I have taken quite a long pause. Instead of creating, I was totally taken by knitting and catching up on Downton Abbey to make sure I could watch the premiere of Season 4 last week. I am also deep in the process of doing the 12 week program of Julia Cameron, the Artist Way. It is very time consuming, it also makes me reorganize my schedule around exercises/activities with regards to creativity. Things that are not blog-worthy!I have also registered in a photography class, which has been a passion of mine for quite some time, but my camera and I have yet to know more about each other, I'll keep you posted on what happens! Besides, my blog's name means beyond images, soooo, if I have posted many of my pictures on Facebook, sometimes I will put a bit of them here! Enough bla bla... On to our challenge. Well, I will present you a box, guess it has exploded already! cause I did not have either time nor patience to put together an explosion box. I will rather present you a Boitatou that was given to my neighbor's son who recently became a daddy! So special, when this neighbor and I met, she was about to give birth to her son, that was 35 years ago, I remember taking in my arms a little baby boy of about 2 weeks old, all dressed in yellow and white ! He came the other day to introduce me to his very own baby boy and I had prepared this little keepsake for the happy parents. Voilà!

Me voilà de retour dans le monde du blog, après une petite pause! Non seulement, j'ai été prise dans le remous des fêtes, mais je suis à tricoter  une jetée pour mon fils, et je voulais à tout prix rattraper mon retard dans le visionnement de la série 3 de Downton Abbey. Je me suis aussi engagée à terminer le programme en 12 semaines de Julia Cameron, Libérez votre créativité, qui consomme beaucoup de mon temps et me force à réorganiser mon horaire en fonctions des différents exercices et activités que je m'alloue et qui malheureusement n'ont aucune valeur sur un blogue! Je me suis inscrite à un cour de photographie; j'ai toujours été un peu Miss Kodak, mais je trouve que ma caméra et moi on ne se connaît pas assez. Je partagerai ici quelqu'unes de mes photos,  le nom de mon blogue s'y prête très bien; j'en ai partagé plusieurs sur ma page Facebook. Bon, assez de blabla, mon projet maintenant! Pour ce défi, nous avions à réaliser une "Explosion box" bien, la mienne a effectivement explosée, puisque je vous présente la boite! seulement. Je l'ai réalisée pour le fils de ma voisine qui est devenu papa un peu avant les fêtes. La première fois que nous nous sommes rencontrées, il y a 35 ans, elle était venue me montrer son fils de 2 semaines, petit bébé tout de jaune et blanc vêtu; quand même spécial que maintenant c'est lui qui vienne me présenter son fils! voici ce que j'ai créé pour les heureux parents!
