DÉFI COULEURS DE JUILLET - Scrapbook ta vie

Bon 1er Juillet!

Happy First of July!
Today, Scrapbook ta vie is presenting its new challenges for the month. I have created this card, for the color Challenge, and believe me, these colors are truly not my "palette". I was not inspired at all, and was searching for something that would trigger my mojo. I travelled on blogland, and landed at Elise, and watched a video with Hawaïan dancers, that did magic. this is my card:

This is my very first experience of merging 2images with Photoshop, thank you Bruno, my son and very own private Photoshop teacher! What a patience he has, and OH! how much he loves his mother... I merged Flip Flop tilda from Summer memories 2012 and Fairy chair from Make it Crafty.

Miss Tilda is colored with wood pencils on Strathmore Bristol. My paper is from K & Co. SW nature; I used colored cheese cloth behind the image, magnolia, Cuttlebug, and Spellbinders die cuts and lots of rhine stones. It is a step card, my very first one.

A view of the interior, with the little pocket to place a gift, or a little word.

Hello Danielle! :)

No one can tell you weren't inspired to use these colours when you first started! You can take any colourcombination in the world and make a masterpiece, I'm absolutely sure :)

The two images you've put together in photoshop looks so beautiful together, and you've coloured your scene so gorgeously with the pencils, absolutely stunning! :)

I also love the design of your card very much, how you've used your dies to create such a fabulous inside and how the flowers matches the ones in the image and Tildas clothing, simply amazing! :)

have a nice Sunday! :)
hugs,
Hanna

I am going to start just coloring for a while. I am like a kid in a candy store. I love all different kinds of mediums. I am particularly interested in water color pencisl. I wish I could have your step card next to me so I could go over every jot and tittle. I love the step card idea and all your swirls that compliment the swirls and curves in her gorgeous hair. The colors used a beautiful together. It's so good to have a real artist as a friend. Looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous creations!
