Happy Friday,
The beginning of a long weekend for us in Canada, as Monday is Thanksgiving, which is starting beautifully under the sun! Today, Christina, Rene and I celebrate one year of Inventory Challenge. For this 52nd edition, we decided to do something a little special, express in a card what the inventory challenge means for us, or has brought you. It was very easy for me to say it in only one word: FRIENDSHIP. I discovered the beauty, the fun, the value of Friendship, yet a special kind of friendship because it is online, but may I ask you a question: is face-to-face a requirement of friendship? I would say no. A real girl's thing...
Bon vendredi,
Let me present you my card now, I have chose this sweet image from Lily of the Valley, called Little Girl's tea time, that was offered to me by Sandy. I colored it with Copics, highlited with Prismacolors. I selected the wonderful papers from MME, Sunshine collection from Lost & found. As I love the sun, and the Sunshine is my nickname for a very truly special friend! And crafting is purely a girl's thing, this also something I wanted to express through this image, the preciousness of girl stuff, meaning a moment with a friend alone, belonging just to us. I hope my card will give you inspiration and will make you remember friends in your life, how precious and how special, not to say IMPORTANT taking care of a relationship is, but oh! so rewarding, and comforting.
I invite you to hop to my friends Christina and Rene's blogs, and admire their wonderful creation. Next week, our theme will be "let's see EMBOSSING".
Prenez un moment et allez admirer les créations de mes amies Christina and Rene's. La semaine prochaine, notre thème sera: l'embossage.
Have a lovely weekend.
Bonne fin de semaine!

Danielle your card is totally adorable. Such a sweetness about it that's colored so perfect. Gorgeous flowers, die cuts and stick pin too! A complete work of art! All so lovely!!
Hugs, Cathy-Lynn
What a beautiful card my friend and congrats on the 52 weeks of fun and getting to know one another...and you are right I don't think it requires face to face at this time with all the internet etc for friendships to come about.
Hugs to ya and I hope to start playing again soon.
Dani, this is a masterpiece of welcoming colors, beautiful floral arrangements and delightful layers. This sweet image has never been colored more beautifully. I love the softer rich colors you did on the two little friends sharing tea... everything about your coloring says "expert". Stunning work of love! Hugs, Barb
Ahhh - I do love LOTV images and this is surely one of their best. Your card is so cute and I love the sentiment. You are one neat lady Danielle and I do appreciate our "on line" friendship!

Such a cute card! I love your comments about friends. Too many of us don't really work at keeping and nourishing a friendship. I do love the one-on-one time with special friends. The colors on your card are so soft.
Huggeroonies,
Kathy
Danielle, this is just the perfect image for your one-year anniversary of your challenge. Can it really be one year already? Kudos to you ladies. Really I'm struggling to keep up with my bi-weekly one...LOL. This image is adorable. Awesome colouring as always. Love your shadows. I'm still learning how to do that properly. The way you framed your sentiment is beautiful--will probaly case you, hope you don't mind. Fabulous card. Love it.

How delightful; gorgeous colors and layout, everything is so precious! I know Sandy is in love with LOTV stamps, so am I; You know, I'm having a whole bunch of them and never have time to ink them up; but I can't help ordering every new collection.
Beautiful card, indeed, we should take much more care of our friends. You know, my parents used to have a lot more time for friends and hanging out than we have today. That';s because they lived in the communist period- until I was about 10 and had no television; not to mention internet or mobile phones. Now, these stuff make easier our daily life but leave us little time for direct socializing. Those were happy time when people actually had the time to get bored:)
Well, I don't mind living these days, I was just briging back childhood memeories. It always happens when I visit your blog!
Bisous
