INVENTORY CHALLENGE No. 53 - EMBOSSING

Happy Friday Friends,
Days are shorter, and chilly! we had Indian summer last weekend, so I guess we are now on our way for the white stuff... This week, Christina, our teamates and I challenged ourselves to EMBOSSING!   I love this technique and I am a good user of powders!!!!!!!

So, I decided embossed elements in my scene and use the contrast between the glossy finish of powders and the warm and waxy look of Prismacolors. I uses a retired Halloween paper from Creative Memories, and added versamark, on the spooky tree and the moon. I used the Spooky tree from Magnolia (I confess inverting the image). Across my scene, I colored the cute fence with pumpkins (digi from Make it crafty), and embossed the fence with Distess powders to give an old finish. I so wished I had purchased the black sooth powder for the tree... I colored Scarecrow Tilda (that I really did not like when she got out), but I have to say I just loved coloring her, and creating this Halloween scene for her, as if she is in disguise!!!!!! I would generously treat this cutie on Halloween night!  To my flower cluster, I added a little beaded spray, a new style I just tried... it will have to be improved a bit somewhat, but it brings a cute detail. Tell me what you think...

I made a close up of sweet Tilda, perhaps I wanted her to forgive me... I hated that image so much when it got out, my friend Cathy-Lynn sent me an image, and said color her... So I did. and now I love her! Thanks Cathy.
Merci Cathy.

That is it for me today, thank you for stopping by and please take a moment to visit my friends and see their outstanding creations.

Now, I must admit that this one me fait peur a little bit...hehe; I think it's one of those Tildas I really don't like. ell, I guess it's all about until you've colored her. Since I don't have her and don't intend to...lol... I jst have to say I love everything about your card; the flowers, the colors, it's all fantastic but I have to admit I have reservations towards this little Tilda. And I just can't hope being franc:)
