Brother and Sisters - Frère et Soeurs

Good Sunday to you all,      (veuillez dérouler l'écran pour le texte français)
Once again it is time for our Stamptacular Sunday Challenge! This week our theme is quite special: No Cards allowed... I am not a very good crafter  when it comes to such type of projects as altered objects or creating a box, or other kind of items . I don't have the patience, neither the imagination. So I decided to stay in my confort zone which is scrapbooking and integrate stamping on my page, as another option to use our stamps... I was a scrapbooker before I became a card-maker, and still continue to work on a specific project while with making cards. Here is  the last  page that I made for my husband's family album. I was inspired by a beautiful sketch from Creative Scrappers. It is one of the very rare pictures taken with  two of his sisters. As soon as I saw that picture, it reminded me of a the tv-series Brothers and Sisters, and wanted to use the title. I had an image of Tilda and Edwin that just waited to be colored, and thought it would make the perfect embellishment. I used my Copics and cut the background with Spellbinders; the distressing was done with my distrezz-il-all -- oH! do I love this toy!  As  I always work in twin pages, I wanted my colors to blend with the brown shades of the other one, so I used beige and straw colors. I used a tag to save the precious handwriting of my sister in law, who had written the date and age of her young sister. The beautiful lace comes from Fabricville, the rhinestones from my stash, but they were colored with Copics. The DP's are Creative Memories, and cardstock from AC Cardstock.

Danielle, you did an exceptional job on this page....Tilda and Edwin are perfect for this!
You colored those cuties to perfection. I keep forgetting to use my Distrezz It tool...I must place it where it is clearly visible! The lace, tag, and bling make this very special indeed!!!
