PROJET DT JUIN SCRAPBOOK TA VIE

Bon vendredi,

Happy Friday,
end of the week, and end beginning of a month. It was my turn to submit a theme for the Scrapbook ta vie challenge, so WATER  is the theme. My project was left aside many times, and I am happy I was able to complete it. Inspiration was not the reason, I had to deal with many unforseen events, and had to let my fingers heal.
It will be a long post, with many pictures, and you will understand why.

The front of my card is quite simple, it is an oval shape window, that should have been a shaker type, but my sister DT Isabelle, made me discover the POWER OF GEL. So, I tried!

The winner takes it all.

You will recognize Tilda on a rope ladder, from the Bon Voyage collection and behind the window, Swimming Tilda, from the Winner takes it all collection. After making the aperture on all layers, I cut an oval shape window, that I painted with Crackle paint. It is glued on a thick acetate sheet to protect the ziplock back containing hand sanitizer! I use a butcher cord with knots all around the opening, and linked to the rope ladder. the ancher is from SU, embossed many times, and attached with another rope. I also added star fishes, and little shells. the sentiment is from Nicole Verkooijen, and I love it so... I wish we had such cute words in french! I placed it on a tag cut with my cricut.

It is a 3 panel card. When opening the front panel, you will discover the marine scenery totally. It is a Make it Crafty digi stamp, called Under water castle. Thanks to photoshop, I cheated a little bit and reversed Tilda, so you see her cute face on this side too!

Un gros plan du paysage marin, l'étampe digi de make it crafty.
A close up of the lovely marine scenery.

I colored this image with copics, but made lots of shading with FaberCastel crayons. My whole image is sprayed with Goose bumps,  I added drops of perfect pearls  to simulate water bubble and glitter pen to give glitter effects. you can click on the picture to make it bigger.

A large tag to write a message, and little pocket to insert a surprise.

Just as the sentiment says: hope my card made your smile!  I would like to thank you for visiting, and being so supportive. Your visits and comments make me very happy, thank you  so much. I hope my fingers will not be tortured by the keyboard too often, and I will be able to visit and leave comments too! Hugs.

It is no wonder that your son is so talented. You are such a huge talent Danielle. Your "under water world" is fantastic. I simply cannot get over what you have done here. The front is amazing within its self. How in the world do you keep that sanitizing gel inside. And from the inside it doesn't look like there is a pouch there. I will be back for instructions! The inside is brilliant. Your mind works on details like no one else I know. And that is what has made this piece of art work so wonderful. All your very well thought out details. Phenomenal artwork -
Bravo and bisous,
Sandy
